April 2009 Meetup – Changed to April 12
Hi all, just letting you know that the meetup date has changed to 12th April 2009 due to Supanova being on this weekend!
Just on another note, we will be expanding Holly & Phoenix to become a general Fantasy (and occasional SciFi) meetup group this time around. Our reasons are that.. well, Harry Potter is essentially done with at the moment. There are a couple of more movies, but not too much by the way of new information. By expanding the group to include other fantasy discussion, we hope to be able to keep the conversation flowing with the new information, movies and books that are available!
We aim to keep Holly & Phoenix a casual meetup group, where people can come along and relax and share their love for fantasy and the occasional Guinness Pie and/or Chocolate Brownie.
If you have any suggestions on how we can improve the group or the website, please feel free to let us know!
ARGH! We didn’t realise it was Easter Sunday! Alrighty, we’ll have another update for you soon…
April 2009 Meetup
What: The Holly & Phoenix April 2009 Meetup
When: Sunday, 12th April 2009, 1:00pm

I’ll be there, digging into the Nachos. Or the Chocolate Brownie.

EDIT: Forgot Supanova was on this weekend. If everyone is busy, how do you feel about having the meetup 12th April instead? if I could have your answers by Wednesday night, please – we’ll make a decision then.
EDIT: Meetup date changed to 12th April 2009.
March Meetup – Postponed
Due to the lack of response about the March meetup, we’ve decided to postpone it.
Will have an update during the week with a new date.
